Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met and assisted with VIP service.

Transfer to one of the capital’s finest hotels, such as Kigali Serena Hotel or a similar luxury property.

Depending on arrival time, enjoy a curated city visit, including the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial — an important and sensitively presented site that offers insight into Rwanda’s history and remarkable transformation.

Dinner at leisure and overnight in Kigali.

Day 2 – Scenic Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, depart by private vehicle toward Volcanoes National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). The drive winds through rolling green hills, tea plantations, and rural landscapes that define Rwanda’s beauty.

Upon arrival, check in to your selected luxury lodge, nestled at the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes.

The afternoon is at leisure — enjoy spa treatments, relax in your private villa, or take in uninterrupted views of the volcanic peaks.

Dinner is served in an intimate setting featuring refined cuisine inspired by local ingredients.

Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Following an early breakfast, transfer to park headquarters for a detailed briefing before entering Volcanoes National Park.

Accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers, you will hike through bamboo forests and volcanic terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family.

The trek duration varies depending on the gorillas’ movements, enhancing the authenticity of the experience.

Once located, you will spend up to one hour observing the family at close range — witnessing playful juveniles, nurturing mothers, and the commanding presence of the silverback. The encounter is intimate, controlled, and deeply moving.

Return to the lodge for relaxation.
