Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kigoma
Arrival in Dar es Salaam and connection to Kigoma on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
Meet and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Overnight in Kigoma.

Day 2 – Boat Transfer to Mahale Mountains
After breakfast, depart by boat across Lake Tanganyika to Mahale Mountains National Park.
The scenic journey reveals forested peaks rising directly from the lake’s edge.
Upon arrival, check into your lakeside lodge. After lunch, enjoy time at leisure — swim in the clear waters, kayak, or simply relax on the beach.

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking in Mahale
Morning chimpanzee trek with experienced trackers in search of habituated groups.
